3 tbsp. fat
1 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. onion
1 clove garlic, chopped
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. red pepper
2 c. rice, cooked
1 c. green pepper
1/4 c. celery
1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
3 doz. oysters
1 1/2 tsp. parsley
1 1/2 tsp. green onion tops, chopped
Make rue of fat and flour; add onion, garlic, green pepper, celery and cook until brown. Drain oysters and add. Cook 5 minutes. Add seasonings and cooked rice. Family favorite for holidays!
